BLT...three letters that make America smile :)

Yet another classic. This was, though, a classic worth reviving. It was delicious, of course.

Ma: BLT (with pepper bacon and homemade bread.)

For those of you who don't know, a BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato) is made like this:

BBQ Chicken, mmm-hmmmm

Annie picked:
a grilled chicken breast, smothered with BBQ sauce, and topped with bacon and cheddar cheese, atop a toasted bun.

This sandwich was pretty good, although a little dry, so be sure to add lots of BBQ sauce and cook the chicken to juicy delicious-ness :)

TexMex Burger

Daddy/Buddy chose........................... a burger with TexMex seasoning, onion & bacon pressed onto the patty with cheddar, chipotle mayo, sauteed jalepenos, on a soft white bun.

Sausage AND Bacon? It's not even breakfast!

Pizza Molto Delizioso Panino

That means very delicious pizza sandwich. And it was.

Ma chose to delight us with this creation:
Pizza sandwich - sausage, mozzerella, and spicy pizza sauce, all in grilled cheese formation. YUM!

Meatloaf on a Sandwich?!

Yes! It is possible!
My dad created:
A fun sandwich with meatloaf slices, mozerella cheese, marinara sauce, all atop fresh foccia bread. We fairly enjoyed it, and its creativity.

Chicken + Caprisi = YUM!

a sandwich featuring a parmesan crusted chicken breast, tomato slices, fresh basil leaves, fat slices of buffalo mozzarella, and sun dried tomato spread on Sally's scrumptious focaccia.

That's right. My sandwich got the best ratings in he past 2 years and took the crown! Woo Hoo!!

A turkey burger with some spice!

This week Ma chose:
a turkey burger with pico de gallo in the patties, topped with pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo on Sally's Sweet Shoppe fresh soft rolls.

This burger changed what we all think of when we hear the words "turkey burger" with its moist and flavorful patties. The pepper jack and chipotle kick it up a notch (which was fine by me). Overall, this burger was spicy and fun and a hit with the whole family.
